The Figure Skating Club of Memphis (FSCM) is a nonprofit organization, exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. FSCM is classified as a public charity under 509(a)(2) of the code. Your donation to support our organization is deductible under section 170. We are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code. Memphis figure skaters are underserved by the absence of a permanent ice facility as well as the high cost and reduced availability of local ice time.
There are many different sponsorship opportunities available:
We are currently seeking sponsors of ice time at the DeSoto Civic Center. Ice at the civic center costs the club and members $225 per hour. We are seeking corporate and/or private sponsors to cover ice time for our members. Sponsorship allows our club to concentrate on providing the best training and coaching available without worrying about whether our members can cover the cost of the ice time. Sponsors will receive recognition on our web site and in our club correspondence for their donation(s). Sponsors may also provide a flyer for members at the session of ice they sponsor. We also are currently seeking a sponsorship to cover the cost of purchasing rental skates for our Basic Skills classes. The town of Collierville has graciously loaned us rental skates for use at our Basic Skills classes. However, the skates have become unavailable during the holiday season with the opening of the Collierville synthetic rink. We would really like to have our own set of rental skates for our basic skills/new skaters. We may be able to label the skates with the name of your sponsorship or recognize your sponsorship in other ways as well. We estimate the cost of rental skates to be approximately $1500. If you or someone you know would be willing to sponsor the purchase of rental skates, please contact Sheila Camp.
Private or corporate sponsors who would like to donate specific monetary amounts tagged for other items such as club uniforms, training, or other areas may also contact Sheila Camp directly for options.

Become a Friend of the FSC of Memphis! While we greatly appreciate the donations of ice time and rental skates, we recognize that other private individuals and/or corporate sponsors may wish to make a general donation. Friends of the FSCM sponsors who donate any monetary amount to the club will receive recognition on a special Friends of the FSCM web page as well as recognition in show/competition programs.
