Become a Friend of the FSC of Memphis! Memphis figure skaters are underserved by the absence of a permanent ice facility as well as the high cost and reduced availability of local ice time. Click here to learn more about our ice situation. Without a permanent ice rink, the Figure Skating Club of Memphis, a non-profit organization, currently rents the ice arena at the DeSoto Civic Center from October to March and provides freestyles, Basic Skills classes, private lesson time, and other club offerings (such as shows, competitions, and test sessions) when possible within our financial and scheduling restraints. It costs the club approximately $15,000 for ice every season! |
If you wish to support our club's endeavors and mission in the Mid-South Region to provide a local structure for figure skating, but you do not desire to skate on club ice, you can join our club as a Friend of the FSCM Member for $15!
As a Friend of the FSCM Member, benefits include:

Receiving all club newsletters and emails including information about our progress in promoting figure skating in the local community

We hope to continue to offer freestyles every season to the local skating community and children and adults wishing to learn to skate as we continue to advocate and support the development of a permanent ice rink in the mid-south region.
We are also seeking individual and/or corporate sponsors.
With your help, we can redirect our membership, class, and ice session fees currently used to sustain our club's ability to purchase ice into ways we can grow our program and offer our coaches professional development assistance; improved Basic Skills class offerings for all our skaters and those wishing to learn to skate; advanced freestyles for our competitive skaters; improved figure skate rental equipment; and so much more!
Consider donating $300 to cover 1 hour of ice time for our skaters.
The Figure Skating Club of Memphis (FSCM) is a nonprofit organization, exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. FSCM is classified as a public charity under 509(a)(2) of the code. Your donation to support our organization is deductible under section 170. We are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code. FSCM recommends you check with your tax advisor if you have questions that concern a contribution to FSCM.
Sponsors will be acknowledged on our club literature and on our web site. We are open to any ideas you may have to form a partnership together.
Donations are accepted via PayPal or Checks Made Payable to Figure Skating Club of Memphis. Receipts for your donations will be issued upon receipt of your donation.
